This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how phpruby ("phpruby", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise processes personal data belonging to users ("Player", "you") of the phpruby website at phpruby.club and all related services (the "Platform"). This Policy is issued pursuant to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Republic of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. By registering a phpruby account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

1. Who We Are — Data Controller

phpruby is the data controller responsible for the personal data collected through the Platform. phpruby determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data. For all data privacy enquiries, the phpruby Data Protection Officer ("DPO") can be contacted at the details set out in Section 14 of this Policy.

2. Personal Data We Collect

phpruby collects the following categories of personal data from Players, either at registration, during ongoing use of the Platform, or as required by law:

phpruby does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (as defined under Section 3(l) of the Data Privacy Act) except where specifically required for identity verification, anti-money laundering compliance, or responsible gaming purposes, and only with your explicit consent or where permitted by law.

3. How We Collect Your Data

phpruby collects personal data through the following means:

• Direct collection — information you provide when registering your phpruby account, completing KYC verification, making deposits or withdrawal requests, or contacting our support team.
• Automated collection — data collected automatically when you use the Platform, including via cookies, web beacons, server logs, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7).
• Third-party sources — identity verification data from KYC/AML service providers; payment confirmation data from GCash, Maya, and banking partners; fraud detection signals from security partners.

4. Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing

phpruby processes your personal data only where a lawful basis exists under the Data Privacy Act. The primary purposes and their legal bases are:

• Account creation and management — necessary for the performance of our contract with you as a phpruby Player.
• Identity and age verification (KYC) — legal obligation under PAGCOR regulations and anti-money laundering laws; also necessary to comply with the 21+ age restriction for online gambling in the Philippines.
• Payment processing — necessary for the performance of our contract; processing GCash, Maya, and bank deposits and withdrawals on your behalf.
• Fraud prevention and security — legitimate interest in protecting the phpruby platform and our Players from fraud, money laundering, and account compromise.
• Responsible gaming — legal obligation and legitimate interest in monitoring for problem gambling behaviours and enforcing deposit limits, loss limits, and self-exclusions.
• Customer support — necessary for the performance of our contract and legitimate interest in resolving Player complaints efficiently.
• Marketing and promotions — based on your consent, where you have opted in to receive phpruby promotional communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Analytics and platform improvement — legitimate interest in understanding how the phpruby platform is used in order to improve products and services for Filipino players.
• Legal compliance — to comply with applicable Philippine laws and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering obligations and PAGCOR reporting.

5. Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

phpruby does not sell or rent your personal data to any third party. We disclose personal data only in the following circumstances:

• Payment processors — GCash (GXI), Maya Philippines, and banking partners receive the minimum data necessary to process your transactions.
• KYC/AML providers — identity verification partners receive identity documents for the purpose of age and identity verification as required by PAGCOR and anti-money laundering regulations.
• Game providers — phpruby's game providers (including but not limited to Playtech and MT) may receive anonymised or pseudonymised gameplay data for game integrity and technical support purposes.
• Regulatory authorities — phpruby may be required to disclose data to PAGCOR, the National Privacy Commission (NPC), the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), or other Philippine government authorities pursuant to a lawful order or regulatory requirement.
• Professional advisors — lawyers, auditors, and accountants who are bound by confidentiality obligations and process data only to the extent necessary to provide professional services to phpruby.

All third-party service providers engaged by phpruby are required to process personal data only in accordance with phpruby's instructions and applicable data protection law. phpruby does not permit third-party service providers to use Player data for their own purposes.

6. International Data Transfers

Where phpruby transfers personal data to service providers located outside the Philippines, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses approved by the National Privacy Commission or equivalent data protection mechanisms, to ensure that your data receives an equivalent level of protection to that afforded under Philippine law.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

7.1 What Cookies We Use

phpruby uses the following categories of cookies and similar technologies on the Platform:

• Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Platform to function (e.g., session authentication, load balancing). These cannot be disabled.
• Performance cookies — collect anonymised data about how Players use phpruby to help us identify and fix technical issues and improve page load times for Filipino users.
• Functionality cookies — remember your preferences (e.g., language, preferred game lobby view) to personalise your phpruby experience.
• Analytics cookies — used to understand aggregate usage patterns on the Platform. Data collected is anonymised and not linked to individual Player identities.

7.2 Managing Cookies

You may control non-essential cookies through your browser settings or the phpruby cookie preference centre. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform. phpruby does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies for targeted advertising.

8. Data Retention

phpruby retains personal data for the following periods, after which data is securely deleted or anonymised:

• Account and KYC data — retained for the duration of your phpruby account and for a minimum of five (5) years following account closure, as required by PAGCOR and AMLC regulations.
• Transaction records — retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of each transaction, in compliance with anti-money laundering obligations.
• Customer support records — retained for two (2) years from the resolution of each support interaction.
• Marketing consent records — retained until you withdraw consent and for a reasonable period thereafter as evidence of the consent obtained.
• Technical and usage data — typically retained for twelve (12) months on a rolling basis, after which aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely in anonymised form.

9. Security Measures

phpruby implements industry-standard technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:

• AES-256 encryption of all personal data at rest.
• TLS 1.2 or higher for all data transmission between your device and phpruby's servers.
• Multi-factor authentication for internal phpruby systems accessing Player data.
• Regular penetration testing and security audits of the phpruby platform.
• Role-based access controls limiting internal data access to authorised phpruby personnel only.
• Incident response procedures and mandatory breach notification to the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of discovery of a qualifying personal data breach.

10. Your Data Rights Under the Data Privacy Act

As a data subject under Republic Act No. 10173, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by phpruby:

• Right to be informed — the right to know what personal data phpruby holds about you and how it is processed.
• Right of access — the right to request a copy of your personal data held by phpruby.
• Right to rectification — the right to have inaccurate or incomplete personal data corrected.
• Right to erasure or blocking — the right to request deletion or blocking of your personal data where processing is no longer necessary, provided that doing so does not conflict with phpruby's legal retention obligations.

• Right to data portability — the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Right to lodge a complaint — the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines if you believe phpruby has violated your data privacy rights.

11. Children and Minors

phpruby does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21. The Platform is strictly intended for adults aged 21 years and above, in compliance with PAGCOR regulations. If phpruby discovers that personal data has been collected from a person under 21 without appropriate parental or guardian consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that data and close the associated account. 12. Third-Party Links

The phpruby website may contain links to third-party websites or services for reference purposes. phpruby is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party sites. We encourage Players to review the privacy policies of any external website they visit. This Policy applies exclusively to the phpruby Platform.

13. Updates to This Privacy Policy

phpruby reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in applicable law, regulatory requirements, or our data processing practices. Material changes will be communicated to registered Players via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when the most recent revisions were made. Continued use of the phpruby Platform following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
